1. Interview with Yekini’s mother – January 25, 2016.
Barely four years after the death Rashidi Yekini, his mother cried for help from all Nigerians after living from hand to mouth.
The old woman in her 80s revealed that since the death of her son, who was the bread winner of their family, she has not got help from any quarter.
Yekini remains the long standing most prolific Eagles striker with 37 goals from 58 national team matches during his 14 year reign.
2. Stephen Keshi’s burial – July 29, 2016
Late Stephen Keshi led Nigeria to her third Africa Cup of Nations triumph in South Africa in 2013 and became one of the few coaches to have won the title as a player and manager.
‘The Big Boss’ as he was fondly referred to during his playing and coaching days died on June 7, 2016, one month before the death of Amodu. He was buried on July 29 and Legit.ng was on ground to cover the burial in Delta.
3. Shuaibu Amodu’s burial – June 11, 2016
The multiple time former Super Eagles Eagles coach died on June 10, 2016 and was buried the following day with compliance with Islamic tenets.
Before his death, the 58-year-old was said to have complained of heart attack before going to bed and was found dead about 4am. His burial ceremony was another legit exclusive.
4. Perpetua Nkwocha’s wedding – Mar 28, 2016.
Former Super Falcons Perpetua Nkwocha got married to her long term sweetheart Ernest Ikechukwu Nwufoh in Owerri three years ago.
The 43-year-old made 99 appearances for the Nigerian women’s national team, where she scored 80 goals in the process.
She won the CAF African Women’s Footballer of the Year award four times (2004, 2005, 2010 and 2011) before hanging her international boots. Legit.ng’s crew were on ground to witness the union.
5. Nigeria’s World Cup qualification – October 7, 2017.
On October 7, 2017, Nigeria under the tutelage of German born coach Gernot Rohr booked their ticket for the 2018 FIFA World Cup in Russia.

6. Interview with David Moyes at Joseph Yobo testimonial – May 31, 2016
Former Nigeria international Joseph Yobo marked his retirement from active football on May 31, 2016 and he was honoured with a testimonial in Port Harcourt.
He became the most capped Super Eagles player with 101 appearances with seven goals credited to him even as a defender.

7. Thierry Henry’s exclusive and coronation as Igwe – January 9, 2018
Arsenal legend Thierry Henry was crowned Igwe in Nigeria when he visited the country over a year ago.
The Frenchman spent most of his senior career with the Gunners and made his mark for the north London club.
