“We said let Nigerians know the event that happened today and that the seemingly intractable crises has been resolved. We do know that about 99.9% PDP faithful are behind the Makarfi faction.”
Akpabio added that the crises was a family issue which often occurred in democratic setting, saying all those on the run should come back.
“What happened was a family issue and it is no victor, no vanquished. We are calling on all to come back for we are all one united family,” he said.
He said the coast has been cleared for the party to remove the All Progressives Congress out of power in 2019.
Corroborating, Deputy Senate President, Ike Ekweremadu and former Senate President, David Mark urged party faithful to be courageous in chasing the APC out of power.
