Peter Obi, the People’s Democratic Party’s vice presidential candidate in the 2019 general elections has denied viral reports that he suffered a heart attack.
Peter Obi who spoke exclusively to SaharaReporters said “the reports are false, I am healthy and ready for court not hospital”.
On Tuesday, some news outlets reported the that Obi had suffered a heart attack a day to the Election Petition Tribunal’s first hearing of the Atiku/Obi 2019 contestation of the polls that saw President Muhammadu Buhari emerge as president.
The denial comes few minutes to the commencement of the tribunal’s sitting.
