Liverpool open talks with agent of Super Eagles star also wanted by Man United, Chelsea
– Victor Osimhen is wanted by Premier League side Liverpool
– The Reds have started talks with his agent over a move
– Osimhen is also being monitored by Manchester United
Premier League leaders Liverpool have reportedly started talks with agent of Victor Osimhen over the possibility of luring the Nigerian striker to Anfield this summer.
Because of his fantastic performances this term for Lille in all competitions, the French giants have placed massive sum of £60 million on his head as transfer fee.
Last summer, Victor Osimhen joined Lille from Belgium side Charleroi and the Nigerian has been impressive so far netting 18 goals in 38 games.
Lille actually signed the Nigerian as a replacement for Nicolas Pepe with fans thinking he may not be able to impress, but Osimhen proved critics wrong.
Recently, Manchester United striker Odion Ighalo called Victor Osimhen the future of Nigerian football and that statement has made him become target for more clubs in England.
Interestingly, Victor Osimhen has also made it clear that he would love to play in the Premier League.
Meanwhile, Liverpool are still waiting for them to know if the League will continue or the body in charge will cancel the whole season because of coronavirus.
Should the League continues, then Jurgen Klopp and his wards have the chance to win the title considering their points on the standings.
Earlier, Legit.ng had reported how Kylian Mbappe’s dad was reportedly reached by Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp in bid to convince Paris Saint-Germain star to Anfield.
The France international has been linked with a move to Real Madrid in the summer that could cost a staggering £250 million.
But with the growing reputation of Liverpool in the Premier League and Europe in the past ten months, the 21-year-old striker could consider joining the Anfield giants.
And according to French news media outlet Le10 Sport, Klopp has contacted Mbappe’s father in a bid to persuade him to the Merseyside club.
But it is understood Mbappe was on the verge of completing a transfer to Madrid shortly before the global pandemic.
Former teammates of Madrid boss Jerome Rothen claimed a deal to take Mbappe to Spain was close to completion before football came to a halt.
