A 400 level physics student of Federal University of Petroleum Resources, FUPRE, Solomon Ikpekpe, has launched a 270-page book titled, ‘No Script’.
The event which, held at the university’s auditorium, had in attendance the Ovie of Uvwie Kingdom, Abe I, represented by Chief Hope Erute, FUPRE Vice Chancellor, Prof. Akii Ibhadode, among other dignitaries while the book was reviewed by Dr. Maria Okocha.
Okocha described the book as an insight for not just students but for everyone who intends to revalidate has life for a better living, saying, “The author applied telepathy, philosophy, inspirational and psychological skills in driving home his message which make it look as if you are communicating directly with him when reading.”
Ibhadode noted that the book is full of so much wisdom relevant in current times, saying, “Having gone through it, I notice that it is loaded with so much value and wisdom to life hence highly commendable I want all students to take a cue from him.”
Speaking on why he decided to write the book, the author said: “I saw that a lot of persons really do not live their lives the way they want to, having received scripts passed down to them from generation to generation without questioning the scripts and they do not even know how and where to start from, so I decided to write this book to in a quest for them to live lives that are true to themselves.”
